I got to contemplating this idea a week ago and after mulling it around I really think it could be a great idea. I know that admin will be setting up group pages in the near future for each state. My thoughts are that within each state as we build the church we could have not only large groups led by ministers but small specific groups allowing for even more relationship building. I'm thinking in specific youth groups, single groups, and married groups. Yes, based upon your traditional groups you see within other churches, but I feel that such groups can allow people with like interests and in like age categories to connect with the issues that concern them. Youth groups of course would be led by an adult (as with any youth group organization), and we could then have larger community group get togethers/meetings/church that brought everyone together on a regular basis as well.
I'm hoping to still meet those in Minnesota that are wanting to get together with other local CoBM members and hope that we can start getting some things together. Anyhow, those are my ideas for now.

I second the notion; I think that something like this could be a good idea, especially as the Church grows and expands.

Is anyone from Tennessee a member of the church? I am sure there are I have just never had the pleasure of meeting or even speaking with one.

Not long ago, Anora and I were talking about subdomains on the website for each state to use for events, sharing state specific info, etc. Well, I've been tinkering around with something completely different and am about ready to show it off. I'm very excited about it. I showed it to Tiffany and she thinks it's great, too.

Exciting. I'll be interested to see it as soon as you have it ready for viewing.

You know, that's a good point. Is there a way for people who may have checked that box to notify admin to uncheck it?
Secondly, I'm thinking (though you're probably already way ahead of me on this) of a church directory? Perhaps something eventually that will come via snail mail broken down by state. Much like if you had a medical provider list (can't think of a better example at the moment) but something that lists members via state by name with their contact information and status in the church (board member, minister, group leader, etc) that we could update once a year? (If we put a digital version up online we could update that more often).

I think this is a wonderful idea & I cant wait to meet up with people from Delaware (if there are any?). I also think it would be good if there will be meetings set up in each state that the dates and times be posted and anyone visiting that state or live close to their surronding state could also attend the meeting (similar to AA or NA meetings).

I'm pretty excited about this idea! It should definitely be something we work on really soon.

I thought I’d gone to the limits. I hadn’t. They gave me an experience beyond limits… pain and pleasure, indivisible.

I think I am the only member from Delaware, I may have to start my own group. Does anyone have any ideas? I dont think people are as open minded in Delaware as they are from other locations I see.
