Expectations and Requirements, Initiate Ministers
The CoBM will now have three different tiers of ministers: Initiate Minister, Minister, and Senior Minister. Though no level has more power than the one below it, the levels show the amount of involvement and dedication of the minister. To become an Initiate Minister you must fill out the application and, if the application is accepted by the Board, the applicant will then be interviewed and questioned on various topics.
If an applicant is accepted as an Initiate Minister they have certain requirements that must be met. Requirements may include holding Church meetings in their area, attending online classes provided by the CoBM, and attendance of online meetings, among other duties.
Initiate Ministers are expected to follow the Code of Ethics for Spiritual Guides as proposed by the Council on Spiritual Practices.
An Initiate Minister must spend a minimum of six months in their position before they may apply for the title of Minister. Details of this process will be outlined at a later date.
