Richard’s Minister Application

Richard E. Ivey, III was born in the small town of Laurinburg, North Carolina, and has lived in central NC all his life.

Richard was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness but was excommunicated from the religion shortly before his 18th birthday for exposing the Witnesses’ dark secrets about hiding child molesters within their ranks. Due to this, the overwhelming majority of Richard’s childhood friends as well as his mother and maternal grandmother refuse to talk to him.

Richard lives in Raleigh, North Carolina and is the head piercer at Warlock’s Tattoo.

Richard’s interest in body modification stems from his early childhood, but his passion for body ritual changed his life. After suspending for the first time, Richard felt something he had never felt before. As a minster in the CoBM, Richard hopes to help other people find similar experiences for themselves, and to further knowledge and understanding of body ritual and the body modification lifestyle in society.
