Is self circumcision possible ? I've heard about the method with the plastic pipe and rubber ring… but haven't seen anybody who tried it in real… anyone ? Or someone who used sucesfully some other method ?

I'm not circumcised, but it is certainly possible. I'd generally recommend a professional however, as doing it in a clean safe manner is going to be difficult alone, especially if you are not a body modification artists.
I always question this mod because it reduces sensation. Obviously each to their own, and it is your body, but i find it interesting why someone would deliberately reduce their sexual pleasure in this way.

I'm with you on the NOT understanding.
It has something to do with the urinal at a professional baseball game… I'm guessing this is some kind of 'man code' because this is the ONLY answer I could get out of my brother.
Other than that, I think it's purely aesthetics.
Why would you want to loose the piercing options? Wink

Not really up on baseball or associated etiquette, so it's not part of the man code i know! I wonder if it's about not feeling the same as others if people see, as it is so common in North America?

As far as I know, that's exactly what it is. Not being the same, as it is pretty much the norm here.
But I think that trend is changing. Most, if not all, of my friends who have started having children are not getting their sons circumcised, because they find it unnecessary and, in the long run, more damaging.
I know a lot of girls here in the US who think it looks weird, dirty, or freakish. However, there are some sane girls in America who think it looks natural, and don't mind. All a matter of taste, I think.

I also agree, why lose all the piercing options?!

The question was not "why" but "how" if possible ;-)
But thanks for your replies….
btw the piercing I'd like to have then is apadravya so I don't need foreskin for it. ;)
