First of all this is my first topic, however im not from the us, so i do apologize for my writing.
This topic its to ask you guys what you think about this..
I have two tattoos one in my right leg its two roses whit my wife's name on it (btw her name its massiel) and i have another in my upper right arm which its two zombie praying hands, one have my wife wedding ring on it , both tattoos i had it done because of her, she means a lot to me (obviously)
however both have different significance, for me the two roses talk about her beauty, and the praying hands means tht i made a promise to her for life something like " neither death will tear us apart" however there's a lot of guys tht think people tht do this made an horrible mistake but i want your opinion about this.
Thanks for sharing, that's nice to read about.
One of the wonderful things about modification is that whether or not you tend to view it as a mistake it becomes an important part of you.
I wouldn't recommend having names tattooed, but appreciate that they can be very important and very meaningful, whatever life deals us.
At the end of the day it's your decision.
I have to agree with Oakbear. In the near future, I plan to get a cutting with my husband to represent our marriage. Its really for you to decide if you think your tattoos are a mistake or not, not for anyone else to decide. What one person might regret if it were their body another might treasure for the rest of their life. Personally, I know when I get my cutting no matter what happens its going to retain a very special significance for me and I know my husband feels the same. Names I wouldn't get but then I also won't get any other lettering. As with all modifications, its a very personal thing with a very personal answer.

I am in agreeance. It is no one's decision but your own as to what you put on your body. They both sound very romantic and personally meaningful (which I feel is the most important thing). Personally I won't put names on me as anything in nature is not forever, relationships included. But that is only for me to decide for myself. I do have a few tattoos that represent important people to me but not names, thankfully none are representative of either of my ex husbands.
