That looks cool.
I wish i had talented tattooist friends dying to give me free work!
May i suggest the knotwork will need altering as it looks a bit too tight, so might look messy in time. Your friend will advise you though.
I'd also recommend if you don't enjoy drawing, get the tattooist to do some of the prep work. They are artists after all, and will usually do a much better job much quicker than us mere mortals! I have also found that giving a little freedom can make for a much more creative tattoo, a happier artist, and a even better result. They'll run any changes or idea by you first, so you always have a veto!
Yeah I fully messed up the knot work I just said
screw it and was going to just have Shawn fix it for me, I want it as
black work but i just left it unfilled in to show it properly. And He is
going to get to mess around with it, he wants to make the doves wings
bigger and switch up some other stuff, which is fine by me. I purposely
left it simple so that he could detail it as he felt.

This is the sword I was working on, which is actually what I spent the most time on. This is more what I could not properly explain, and the one I am less flexible on changing. I still need to do the blade and the little extras that go with it, And for reference the green was just there to show shading without loosing the line work. its going to be black and white with a blue tint to it.
I was stuck watching kids tonight, and will be tomorrow as well but hopefully Thursday and Friday I will be able to hash out the rest of it so I can get them both this weekend. I totally admit this may be greedy of me but if I can get them both I sure as hell am going to!
And I am wayyy thankful for this anyway, I know that between the two of them I am probably looking at like a grand of work that I am getting. I love Shawn!
