I mentioned this briefly in another thread, but i wondered who is friends with or subscribed to Shannon's Facebook?

He's blogging about body modification again after his agreed 'ban' has expired. It makes me realise how missed he's been. It's wonderful, thoughtful, intelligent stuff, bringing so many interesting mods and topics into one place.

I recommend it to anyone interested in modification. If you're young enough not to know who he is, check it out and educate yourself, you won't be disappointed i'm sure!

I strongly second this recommendations.  I found it a couple of weeks ago and its quite amazing.  Through that blog, I've started strongly considering getting my eyes tattooed sometime in the (probably distant) future.  I enjoy the fact that he includes both the best and the worst as well as the fact that he comments and provides a little bit of commentary on everything he posts.  It is well worth the subscription.

I go to his page, but there's nothing there.

It's the guy who started the BME website am I right?

Glad you got it! Yes he's the guy who started BME.

I think he's away for a few days, but it's well worth subscribing.

vampyremage – You'd look awesome with tattooed eyes! I'm not a huge fan of the look in most cases, but i think it'd suit you! Scary risky stuff though! Have you seen Shannon's comments on long term headaches as a side effect? He's trying to gather info about it and it seems this can be a problem.

Absolutely I have which is one of the reasons why it isn't something on my immediate list of things to do.  Certainly I don't expect to get it done within the next decade, but its an idea that's been filed in the back of my mind for future reference.  Who knows what might develop over the course of the next 10 years since, as I gather, its still relatively new.

I have known Shannon for almost 15 years .. and I have followed him from early on … including BME

Matter of fact .. my dice website .. as well as ACBPLL were hosted by BME for many years

Yay i got featured!

When i was younger i always wanted to get on Modblog, but that changed in time.

It's still nice that Shannon likes my tattoo enough to share it, he's an inspiration.

Congrats Oakbear!

That's super awesome Oakbear.  I got featured a couple months ago when I did my suicide suspension.  It felt like I bit of an accomplishment.

Now I want to be featured! Haha.

Awesome Oakbear! Congrats!

I've also subscribed to Shannon's page, and so far I love all the stuff he puts up! I really enjoyed the post about Rolf yesterday. That guy is the coolest.

And four days later, and I am now featured on his "blog." He featured the story about my knee suspension in which I had a major skin failure, and a harness saved my life.

Truth, if you're suspending upside-down, wear a harness. You never know.

Ah that was you! Are you ok?

Shannon seems to have moved from Facebook now, and back onto Modblog! It's a funny old world….

Yeah, that was me. ;P I'm fine now. It was a bit of a recovery period, but I have some really badass scars now.
