Firstly, we have no membership card. There was a recent discussion here on the forums discussing the matter and Chris, our president, made some very valid points as to why we do not have them. Currently there is no way to prove you are a member in such form, however, when you joined and were accepted as a member of the CoBM (not the same as being a member of the forum), you should have received an email verification saying so. My advice, and probably your best bet, would be to print that email out and take it into your place of employment to show those that are in charge of this policy change.

Your best bet is exactly what Jamesryan suggested and do your best to talk with them, find out why they want the plugs out, see if you can create a compromise with them. If no compromise is to be made, I suggest take out the plugs, do your best to keep them open when you're off of work, and look around for a new job that's more open.
I work at a warehouse, have plugs and a tattoo on my finger, they don't much care. See if you can find something like that, they pay well, and your appearance doesn't matter to them.

The only other idea I could suggest (if the above idea doesn't work) is that you get them to log on to the CoBM site from one of their computers onsite. Then have them send an email to Chris Carter or another member of the Board of Advisors requesting direct verification of your membership.
As for the idea of a membership card? Name one church or spiritual group on the planet that gives membership cards to their members. What is this, a grocery store? I'd feel a little silly whipping out a membership card for my spirituality.
And hey, yet another idea…Do you have your bars tattooed or otherwise emblazoned on your skin? It would be hard to argue that someone with a cross or praying hands tattoo doesn't believe in Jesus. Perhaps having the church bars modified into you in some way would show how seriously you take Body Modification.

i also have large earings 1 5/8 and find that when they ask me to remove them i show them what it looks like with them out and they usualy change there minds real quik and say i have to remove all of em except the big ones and im gonna agree with everyone else that the email should be the best way to prove membership but i find it rediculous that you would have to prove something like that if you where a member of a larger more known religion you wouldnt have to prove anything nor would you be given something that would prove it other than your word i wouldnt just cave in and remove them cause that would just show them that its not a big deal if you do but explain to them are beliefs and hope that they can respect that you can always look for work in a field more excepting of mods as well (i no its not the greatest out there job wise) but it might help in the long run so stuff like this doesnt happen again
