We've been working on a new page on the site for people who are looking for additional resources regarding ritual, spirituality, and body modification. We are looking to add a few more to the list before we start sharing and posting the link. If you know of anything to add to the page, please post it here!

Keep in mind, the list is not meant to be an inclusive list. You aren't going to find The Piercing Bible or the movie Modify listed. Instead, we're hoping to add resources that aren't as obvious yet are just as important.

I really like the way it's laid out – very cool!

Did you have a chance to check my other suggestions?

I've just purchased Mysticism: A Guide for the Perplexed by Paul Oliver, which seems like it might make the grade…..

"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." - Nietzsche

Nice suggestion, I'm definitely going to pick that one up. What were your other suggestions? I can't remember if you emailed them to me or what. Laugh

I found this documentary extremely helpful in my journeys in spirituality and body modification, if not inspiring. This link is to the first part, on the right hand side, half way down the page, you'll find the links to the other 6.

The page is up and and is "open" I guess you could say. We'll certainly add to it over time but I think it's a good start. I'm not sure where to post a link to the page on the website but it's certainly okay to share the direct link if ever needed.

do you think a simple conversion chart for gauges in the us and uk would be a good idea for that? many people are still confused on the conversions.

That's tough. There's so much information we could include. I think it would be best to focus on body modification as it relates to ritual and spirituality though. Information regarding size conversions, materials, healing process, etc, can be found elsewhere pretty easily.

I have to agree with Chris on this one, Indi. But, if you're interested in learning, I'd check out the following website if I were you.
