As I am attempting to get an organization that is opposed to the discrimination of body modifications off the ground, I spend a good deal of time searching for legal matters on the subject. Here are three I've found tonight that may prove interesting.

What do you think of it?

Excellent stuff!

I did research the UK at one point, found sojme useful issues, and posted on Tribe, but didn't think to save it!Cry

Don't suppose there'd be a back up of that anywhere?

"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." - Nietzsche

Two things just popped in my mind. You are looking to start a non-profit, correct? There are rigid regulations concerning non-profits and just how much they can influence legislative issues. Have you looked into this?
Also, remember to be very careful when talking about legal matters. Once you get your organization up and running, what sort of information will you provide? Offering any legal advice or even interpreting law has the potential of getting you in a heap of trouble. Unless, of course, you're a lawyer.
Thanks for sharing the links though. Definitely going to look at them. :)

I just remembered, Tiffany Hahn recently wrote up a brief page on her own site concerning discrimination, body modification, and the CoBM. Here's the link.
