I thought I'd have a little fun and share a few photos with everyone. I love the CoBM logo so I've made use of it in a couple places in my daily life. I have a sticker on my car, on the back of my bass guitar, and as a background on my phone. Has anyone else done anything similar, either with the stickers in the store or some you've made yourself?

Haven't had a chance to grab any stickers yet. I'm sure when I do, they will be everywhere…

I also play bass. Easiest instrument to learn and the hardest to master.

I like to play jazz and more progressive rock but I am getting into a little rockabilly. My influences, I would say, are Victor Wooter, Steve Bailey, Les Claypool, Django Reinhardt, and Bill Dickens.

Nice man that sweet! Those are some great artists who have perfected their art. Do you have anything recorded at all? Yeah i play guitar but mainly just like melodic/progressive/grind metal. But i like to play anything from blues/jazz/rock/metal ect. I dont know what I would do without it lol

Money is getting harder and harder to come by!

I have a Dean Razorback Cemetery Gates edition that seems to be begging to have the Chuch Bars on the back near the base of the neck…

I think that will be done within the next couple weeks! :)

This is a painting I've started but haven't finished.  Because most of my heritage is Celtic, I'm making a CoBM logo that is filled in with Celtic knot work.  Of course, I realized too late that I had gotten the proportions of the bars wrong.  The three of them make a nice perfect square instead of the rectangular shape they actually make in the real symbol.

Either way, I don't much care.  The lettering filling in the bars looks better this way anyway.  If the bars had been the proper dimensions I think the lettering would have looked a bit odd.  To squashed and stretched out.

I realize there are some mistakes in the knot work patterns that I have already filled in, but I'll be fixing that before the paining is complete.  Too bad the camera on my phone sucks, or the detail would actually be visible.

This is my Ibanez RG2EX2.  A baseline model, but it has a great tone for metal or mellow sounds.  A great all-around guitar, and plays very smooth.  The CoBM logo is tilted so that it will appear straight up and down when I'm playing.

I really like the painting you've done.

Very innovative and a really cool take on the original Church Bars. :)

I also like the decal on the guitar.

Looks wonderful on a guitar.

Making me want to do it to mine more and more… xD

Thanks.

The sticker looks awesome on the back of the bass, but I didn't want to hide mine.  And with the black and white paint on my guitar, it just fits right in.  Looks awesome.

I used to have a sticker on the back of my motorcycle helmet as well, but I'm riding anymore.

You should definitely keep it on your helmet if you start riding again. :D

Do they happen to make a decal with the Church Bars being White instead of Black?

Because my guitar is all black. :(
