Just thought Id say hey!

Its been forever since ive been on here and A LOT has happened! I had my son at the end of june! We've moved to a new town about 50 miles away from where we were living, not too far but enough to feel like its a new start. Unfortunately its a much smaller town and I'll be taking a look at the shops around here and seeing whats good. hopefully making new relationships! After I'm done breastfeeding I plan on getting my philtrum, triple forward helix, and my flats punched. Ill be heading to san diego most likely to get my flats done as no one in nevada can do them. Any shop suggestions!? Thanks! and Im glad to be back! Heres a smiley face for you!

everett!

Adorable!!  I considered the name Everett, but we already have one in the family.  I also liked Caleb.  We named our son Rowan which we feel like honors our Celtic roots and it is an Americanized version of a Sanskrit word meaning healing descending energy.  I usually call him RoRo.  He will be 3 very soon.

He likes to take out my earrings and put his little fingers in place and say I'm wearing my baby for jewelry.  He laughs and laughs like he's so clever!!

My daughter Vivian likes to hook her fingers in my lobes at night when I kiss her goodnight and she says she's swinging from the Mama tree.  They both make reference to me as a tree on a regular basis.  IDK why.

Are you breastfeeding?  Do you have nipple piercings?  I'm interested in hearing your experience with that.  I breastfed both and had nipple piercings at 6g.

I am also open to reading your birth story and maybe you would like to write me in a private message.  Is this your first?

This is actually my third.

My first was when I was in high school and I ended up giving him up for adoption. His name is colin. He now lives in Ireland with an amazing family. He was HUGE when i gave birth to him 10 lbs. I ended up having to have a c-section because his head was 15 inches and wasnt descending for me to actually have strong enough contractions to dilate.  18 hours of labor and was only 4cm. I picked out his family and have an open adoption. he knows me as the tummy mommy and mary, as his mother. theyre amazing people. this is his lovely face!

My second was a big baby as well 8.4 lbs. her name is violet. Her name suites her sooo much. Shes crazy and energetic and fun. shes a love and a hellion at the same time. She'll be three in december. Ended up having to have an emergency c-section with her because of my heart rate and hers. turns out that the cord was wrapped around her neck. this is her face! she was learning how to do dishes here lol

Everett ended up being my smallest as I had a planned repeat with him. Hes such a calm little guy hes just amazing. I love him so much, he has definitely completed our family.

I am breast feeding. I breast fed my daughter as well. I did on demand feeding with them. right now my little man will eat for an hour+ at a time, he's cluster feeding like mad but its about the time for that to happen. I do not have my nipples pierced any more but plan on getting them back after Im done BF him. I never wanted to have C-sections and probably wouldve had more kids if i didnt have such a bad history with dilating and the like. Vi will loop her fingers through tunnels and wiggle them around and laugh her head off. she think most of my plugs are pretty and when i change them out she has to grab my face and move it from side to side to inspect them ahahaha.

Kids are so sweet and simple with their love.  They haven't put up all the barriers.  Yesterday my family and I were at a pizza place in this awesome area about 15 minutes from our home called "the square".  It's historic and eclectic.  We did cheers with our pints of beer and the kids joined in with their sippy cups of water.  Vivian told our waitress who had about 3/4 inch lobes and a cheek piercing (totally unprompted)  "I love your face."  The girl hugged me immediately.  We have never seen her there before.

One day we were in a grocery store and there was a handsome dude covered in tattoos and Vivian noticed him.  As we pushed past him with our very full cart, she says straight at him, "you are beautiful like a rainbow."  No way for him to be grumpy for the rest of that day with a compliment like that!!  He waved at us and smiled.

I am proud of you for breastfeeding.  You will raise their IQ with your dedication.  If you want any advise about bringing your body back into shape, I have some good binding techniques.  I didn't get any stretch marks, but if I did, I would enhance them with other modifications.

I have huge stretch marks from my first child. some that are an inch wide in places. Any binding techniques would be greatly appreciated. Im currently dealing with the sagging pouch from my incision. my weight gain isnt that bad this go around, i was actually within my limits with this one. and have been doing core strengthening exercises again because I lost all my strength and muscle memory when they cut through my abdomen. I always thought of getting tiger stripes with my stretch marks, probably after i get back into shape.. I always loved the quote "you dont have stretch marks, you're a tiger that earned her stripes"  and thought itd be a great way to enhance them. I love breast feeding, even when its been daunting, I love knowing that its something that only i can provide and is the ultimate in nutrition for them. I breast fed my daughter nine months (wanted to make it to at least a year but she self weaned, she was crawling at three months, fully walking at 7, she didnt want to sit down and eat, she had places to go!) and plan on breast feeding at least a year with everett. after a year ill see where he stands and how much comfort he receives from it and go from there to figure out when to wean.

Try this book for binding techniques using a simple piece of cloth.  All the the information in this book was pretty interesting when it comes to female prowess.  Also, try wrapping around your waist and down over your hips to between your legs around your thighs and back up crossing at your "pooch" area for reinforcement to your organs.  Walk around raising your knees as high as you can to bring those muscles back together.

What a beautiful Mama you are!!

Hello again Amber.  Congratulations on the birth of your new son.  He looks very healthy and will obviously be well loved.

I haven't been participating much in the last couple months either, as I've been busy working 13 hour shifts on days, then nights, then days, then nights again.  It's exhausting, but the good news is, I only work seven shifts every 14 days, so I've got a lot of time to recover.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello to you and everyone else.  I'm adjusting to the new schedule and I hope to start participating regularly again, assuming life doesn't get too busy wearing me out.

Sometimes I wonder if I can say anything in less than a hundred words.
