The forum doesn't differentiate between COBM members or not. According to Chris almost everyone on the forum who has made more than a couple of posts is a full member anyway!

Might be a nice idea if there was something saying if your COBM though….

Unfortunately there's no way to add any sort of CoBM badge for members unless we go through every forum member and cross-check it with the membership database.. one by one.

I have this faint idea that it probably won't change because maybe you were a forum member before you became a church member?

I don't know your situation, but I joined the forums while I was waiting for my response, and it just didn't change and I feel like that is why.

Yep there is no way to differentiate on here, but it would be cool if we could.

It doesn't matter if you've been a member for years, just signed up or are a not a CoBM member, everyone is just a 'forum member' here.

You can always add something to your signature bar if you want to let people know, or proclaim your affiliation!

What I don't understand is why some are listed as members and some are listed as senior forum members.

I don't know for sure, but imagine it's probably post count, maybe time registered, or even a combination of both. My money is on post count though! Looking around it seems to be around 30 posts?

There's no mechanism for this being done manually as far as i know.

Chris will know the rules for sure!

My confusion comes from the fact that I'm a member rather than a senior member and I have one of the highest post counts here.  Not that it matters to me really, I was just curious as to why.

Now that's odd! When i looked earlier you were a senior member, now it is just member!

Chris??

I think this is just a glitch.

New member changes to member at 3 posts and senior member at 20.
