So i thought id make a page for people to discuss the times when we feel like we have really stumbled upon a deep inner truth. For example, whenever i find something in my meditation or rituals that truely harmonizes with me, i tend to feel, or should i say visualize, its like unlocking a massive lock just a little more. Or like lighting a candle in a dark cave only to discover a thousand more candles :)…anyone else have an expierience of the same or possibly would like to share what they discovered?

Going through the pain of getting my outer labia pierced at 10g.

The sharp pain lanced through me, I yelled, and everything flashed black (I see different colors for different types of pain). I didn't get an endorphin high but the second each one was done experiencing that pain and coming out of it made a connection to spirit in my chest. I felt emotionally moved.

They are still my favorite piercing. I look at them every day and am ready to get two more placed behind the ones I have. They are beautiful – while visually attractive, I mean more that their emotional value is beautiful, they cause me joy, make my body more me…

The pain of receiving them was certainly a part of my ordeal path.

Relationships come and go, but plastination is forever.

Hi rumpusparable, welcome to the forum!

Thanks for sharing, and well done for digging out a good topic which seems to have gotten missed! I'll have to have a think about some personal examples when i get time.

So can i ask what things you learned from that experience?

Overcoming an ordeal or managing pain can help us think in new or unexpected ways, as well as test ourselves. It's always interesting to hear what people learn from it.Smile
