I just got my Angel Bites (Monroe Style Upper Lip Piercing Done On Both Sides) done today, and got to double digits in my amount of piercings :3

I'm very pleased with them!

Although, I have to say, they were by far the most painful piercing I have ever done.

The aftercare and swelling has been pretty minimal.

I also stretched my lobe to 1 1/4in today. :3

Photos will be up later.

I just wanted to ask…

What other things do people want to do and why do you want to do them? :3

no offense, but i can't stand angel bites. to me, it is the most repulsive pericings i have ever seen. also it's such a stupid fad made by kids who had snake bites to fit in then complained everyone has them, saw someone with the opposite and thought they could start something new, cool, and strange…while fitting in with the previous person lol.

if you like them for a different reason, go you, but both negative parts for me.

but i  value what they mean for you. just sharing my opinion. i hate sceneie weenies, they're pathetic and the only thing brutal about them is the facade they live in.

I have specific reasons as to why I got most of my piercings, however my Angel Bites are simply aesthetic.

I don't consider it a "Brutal" piercing, nor do I consider any piercings "Brutal"

All of my piercings have a meaning to me weather it be Spiritual or Aesthetically.

I am pleased you decided to share your opinion.

I think it could have been said in a more kind way.

But, to each their own.

Everyone has their aesthetic preferences regarding what they like or don't like and what they'd want themselves or not want on themselves.  There are certainly piercings I don't have a preference towards, but I feel everyone has a right to make that decision for themselves.

I started with Spider Bites because I didn't want to have Snake Bites simply because so many other people had them, and I loved the look of Spider Bites, not to mention they were my first piercing not on my ears.

So, I got 'em done.

Then, 6 months later, I wanted to get the other side done with Spider Bites too.

So I did.

THEN!

I decided to get Angel bites.

I haven't met anyone who has this layout of Lip Piercings other than myself…

I love the way it looks on me, and THAT is the reason why I got it.

Not because other people had them or I wanted to be different or unique.

But because I thought they look superb.

If you like them, that's the most important thing anyway.  I used to have quite a few facial piercings but over the last few years I've downgraded.  I've come to prefer, on myself at least, fewer large gauge piercings as opposed to many small gauge piercings.  Its all personal preference, though.

I can understand how that would look good on a lot of people.

I stretched all four on my bottom lip to a 12g at the highest, but not totally sure where to go from there, simply because I don't want to jeopardize the structual integrity of the piercings themselves, considering they're so close together.

I have also stretched my nostril a little bit, but downsized back to a 16g from a 10g, simply because I don't believe it looked good on me.

I have to say, thank you. I *really* don't like stretched nostril piercings. Truth be told, aside from a tongue piercing, I don't like stretched facial piercings much period, but nostrils kind of gross me out. I am okay with like 14 or 12g though.

I've wanted snake bites for quite some time, but I am afraid of how they'll effect my job search. Most jobs I am qualified for are sales and such, so a lot of face time with customers doesn't lend itself well to facial piercings.

I can understand that.
I've had to retire all of my facial piercings for that reason.
It does make it hard, but if you can find a job that doesn't mind it, I say go for it. xD
I would definitely get into a stable situation before doing it though.
Simply thought for the future you know!
