I am in the Army and was wondering are there any fellow members that are currently serving as well?

I was hoping to find a member in the service, I'm hoping to join up soon. As per your experience do you have any advice as to miss and the military?

I know we have a couple of military members who have posted on here before, but they haven't posted for a fair while.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'advice as to miss and the military', but if it's regards modifications, from what i have heard from those in the US military, generally anything visible is a no-no, and it seems even stricter on enrolment. They would not seem to be the most progressive of employers.

In terms of general advice, i personally caution about any abdication of one's right to decide between right and wrong. I can understand the attraction of a job like this for some, but it's a heavy price to pay imho.

"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." - Nietzsche

Army veteran here and husband is still active duty, though he's not in the church. What sort of questions do you have?
